CROP FARM
From our Soil to your Door: All of our fruits & vegetables are grown in Ontario. We work mainly with corporate farms to ensure quality and sustainability. Due to this method, we only sell what is in season. Produce coming into season is added to the store as harvest begins.
Greenwood Farm specialize in the production of cash crops such as corn, soybean and wheat. Grow local, no spray vegetables and follow organic farming practices as much as possible. We grow all kinds of vegetables from spring greens, to carrots, peas and tomatoes. We try to have a variety of vegetables available from mid-May until the end of October.
Greenwood Farm provide crop inputs including seed, fertilizer and crop protection products; application services, scouting and agronomy advice. Manure from our Egg Farms and Poultry Farms is used to fertilize crops. Straw grown at Greenwood Farm is used as bedding at our Poultry Farms.
